Who Am I?
I founded Monture Partners in 2024 with the vision of doing something different in consulting. I had spent 20+ years in the management consulting industry working with major corporations on some of their biggest initiatives, and I decided late in 2023 to take a sabbatical and reflect on what was happening in the industry.
The time away astonished me. I got a clear vision for how I wanted to spend my time going forward. I realized that I had amassed a ton of experience working on gnarly programs for the big enterpise sized companies. Those skills are highly valuable for non-enterprise sized clients too, but many times, consulting cost was too big of a barrier to overcome.
So, WHAT IF (a personal mantra of mine), I could figure out a way to bring many of those “big consulting” skills to the non-enterprise market in a way that was attainable? That is how Monture Partners came to be.

Question #1: Why all of the fly fishing references and imagery?
Answer #1: Fly fishing reflects qualities that align with consulting: serene yet technical, experience-driven, and dynamic. Plus, I conceived Monture Partners while making a bamboo fly rod, so the analogy just fits.
Question #2: What does the name Monture Partners mean?
Answer #2:Monture Partners is named after Monture Creek, MT, where I caught my first fish on a fly rod under the guidance of a master. The experience—learning, working hard, and connecting—mirrors how I approach client partnerships.
Question #3: What has been your favorite consulting project you have been a part of?
Answer #3: I have been blessed to work on a ton of things — from the initial launch of ring tones (remember those?!) massive Snowflake data migrations, channel program launches, digital workflow transformations, cybersecurity audits, web site redesigns/implementations, data visualization analytics, Agile migrations, and so much more. My favorite was a production process redesign and automation for a small company. Starting with basic requirements, I developed a custom workflow application that transformed their production cycle, boosting visibility from order to fulfillment.
Question #4: What 3 words would you want people to use to describe Monture Partners?
Answer #4: Passionate, Strategic, and Practical. Anything worth doing is worth doing fully. Without a strategy, nothing really happens. But that strategy has to be possible—not necessarily easy. There are great firms out there to focus on strategy, but when it comes to the implementation, they do not have the ability to understand how it can be done. Conversely, there are great firms that can be completely practical and are fantastic at completing tasks, but can never see the path to innovate. I love being in that in-between
Question #5: When you are not consulting, or fly fishing, how do you like to spend your time?
Answer #5: I love being with people. There is so much to learn from people and so much laughter to be shared.
